Sunbelt Rentals has added the Skydio X10 drone to the company's equipment rental portfolio - a significant step in expanding access to autonomous drone (or unmanned aerial vehicles, UAVs) to the construction industry and more.
According to the announcement, the decision will make Sunbelt Rentals the first global equipment rental provider to offer Skydio's NDAA compliant drones as part of its fleet. This enables customers across construction, engineering, infrastructure inspection, energy, emergency response and many other industries to access Skydio’s technology via the Sunbelt Rentals’ nationwide network.
