ABB has introduced the NEMA DP200 Crush+ severe-duty motor for crushers and other quarry, mining and aggregate applications. Engineered with the user in mind, Crush+ delivers high starting and breakdown torque alongside flexibility and design modularity.
Built upon the SD200 motor platform, its rugged and reliable design optimizes performance.

In addition to the many standard design features, Crush+ allows for fitment of the ABB Ability Smart Sensor for digital powertrain condition monitoring in hazardous areas. ABB Ability converts traditional motors into smart, wirelessly connected devices, enabling users to monitor the health of their motors and to plan maintenance in advance.
The sensor’s enclosure withstands high vibration levels and provides protection from dust and water ingress. The ABB Ability Smart Sensor is certified for ATEX, IECEx and NEC500, making it compliant with strict requirements for equipment operating in explosive atmospheres.
