Kobelco Construction Machinery USA has named Jim Zak as the new Vice President of its Excavator Division, expanding the company’s leadership team.
Zak brings more than 30 years of experience in the heavy equipment sector, having previously held leadership roles at CNH Industrial and Caterpillar. His background includes driving growth and managing teams across global markets, with a focus on customer relationships and operational efficiency.
As Vice President, Zak will oversee Kobelco’s excavator business in North America, helping guide strategic direction and support the company’s dealer and customer network.
“Jim brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a strong customer focus,” said Gus Kimura, President of Kobelco USA. “His leadership will help support our long-term goals and dealer partnerships.”
Zak’s appointment comes as Kobelco continues to expand its presence in North America.
