John Deere Power Systems (JDPS) announced it will feature original equipment manufacturer (OEM) machinery within its booth for the first time at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026. The event is scheduled for March 3-7, 2026, in Las Vegas. The company plans to display a full range of its power solutions, from diesel engines to battery and hybrid technologies, alongside equipment from its OEM customers.
This approach is intended to highlight the collaboration between JDPS and equipment manufacturers.
“At CONEXPO, we're proud to showcase not just our technology, but the real-world success of the OEMs who trust John Deere to power their equipment,” said Julien Le Vély, global director of marketing and sales at JDPS, in a press release. “We remain deeply committed to advancing the diesel engines many rely on today while investing in a comprehensive portfolio of solutions — including battery and hybrid technology and renewable fuels — to ensure our customers’ success for years to come.”
OEM Collaborations on Display
The JDPS exhibit will include several machines from partner OEMs, demonstrating the application of John Deere power solutions in various off-highway sectors.
Participating OEMs and their featured equipment include:
- Bandit Industries: The 2290 Track Whole Tree Chipper, which uses the JD14 engine for high-torque applications like land clearing.
- CK Power: A concept generator set built with the new JD4 engine, designed for the utility, construction and rental markets.
- Elgin Sweeper Company: The Pelican three-wheeled mechanical streetsweeper, powered by a 4.5L John Deere industrial engine.
- Jones Manufacturing: The Mighty Giant grinder, which utilizes the JD18 engine for applications in the agricultural and industrial grinding markets.
Diesel, Hybrid and Electric Solutions
To demonstrate the technologies it offers to OEMs, JDPS will also display two John Deere construction machines.
The 310 X-Tier E-Power Backhoe, a battery-electric prototype, will be shown. The machine incorporates John Deere and KREISEL battery technology. A concept mobile charging solution will also be displayed alongside it.
Also on display will be the diesel-electric 824 X-Tier Wheel Loader, which is powered by the JD9 9.0L engine. The machine features an Electric Variable Transmission (EVT) for simplified single-pedal operation.
