Perkins has appointed Richard Hemmings as vice president and general manager for Sales, Marketing, Service and Parts (SMSP), effective Jan. 1, 2026. He will oversee global sales operations, marketing initiatives, service delivery and parts distribution.

The appointment follows the planned retirement of Jaz Gill, vice president for global sales, marketing, service and parts, effective March 31, 2026. 

Hemmings, who has spent nearly two decades with Perkins, has progressed through roles across the SMSP organization and most recently served as general manager for aftermarket. In his new role, he will drive commercial strategy across the company’s engine portfolio, strengthen customer relationships and support expansion of the global dealer network while ensuring service excellence and parts availability for industrial engine customers worldwide.
