Stellar Industries has introduced two new models to its NXT Hooklift Series — the NXT24 and NXT30 — expanding its lineup with options designed for broader container compatibility and increased capacity. The additions are aimed at supporting a wider range of applications in the waste, construction, and municipal sectors.
New Configurations Expand Use Cases
The NXT24 and NXT30 are available in three size configurations: Short, medium and long. Each size accommodates specific container lengths and hook height ranges to meet varied jobsite requirements.
NXT24:
- Capacity: 24,000 lbs.
- NXT24S: 10'–14' containers, 36"–54" hook height
- NXT24M: 12'–16' containers, 36"–54" or 54"–62" hook height
- NXT24L: 14'–18' containers, 54"–62" hook height
NXT30:
- Capacity: 30,000 lbs.
- NXT30S: 10'–14' containers, 36"–54" hook height
- NXT30M: 12'–16' containers, 36"–54" or 54"–62" hook height
- NXT30L: 14'–18' containers, 54"–62" hook height
All models feature low lost load heights — 8 inches for small and medium configurations, and 9 inches for long — helping operators lower container centers of gravity during transport.
Modular Features and Installation Flexibility
Both hooklift models are equipped with a universal body latching system that uses bolt-on inside or outside locks, adaptable to a variety of container designs without the need for structural modifications. Roller-style body saddles help reduce friction during loading and unloading and can be positioned as needed. A universal hydraulic reservoir further simplifies installation by allowing for multiple mounting options that avoid chassis interference.
Control Options and Safety Features
Users can choose from several control options, including cable, air, electronic joystick, or radio remote, the latter allowing for remote operation from inside or outside the cab. Soft-stop functionality on the lift cylinder brings containers gently to rest on the saddles, reducing wear and tear on the unit and body.
Built for Code Compliance and Versatility
Depending on local weight regulations, the NXT24 may be operable without a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), providing an entry point for smaller fleets or businesses looking to expand capabilities without additional driver certifications.
Preview of New Patent-Pending Feature
Stellar also teased a new patent-pending hooklift feature, set to debut at WasteExpo, further expanding the system's adaptability and performance.
Both new models are manufactured in the U.S., continuing Stellar's commitment to domestic production and quality control. Availability for the Medium configuration begins immediately, with Short and Long versions expected later in 2025.
