Gradall Industries is unveiling the XE 4100 excavator at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas.
The 6x4 XE 4100 is designed as a lighter alternative to the company’s XL 4100 models, weighing 45,900 lbs. — about 4,000 lbs. less than the Series V version. The reduction comes primarily from a smaller counterweight and 6-in. decrease in tail swing.
The machine offers a 27-ft. boom reach and 20-ft. dig depth, with a telescoping boom that rotates 220 degrees. It is designed for grading, ditching, excavation, vegetation control and light demolition without outriggers. The low-profile boom allows operation under bridges and tree cover.
The XE 4100 includes a Volvo engine, Bosch Rexroth hydraulics and electric joystick controls. A remote repositioning system enables movement from either cab. The excavator can travel up to 60 mph on the highway from the carrier cab and up to 7 mph on the jobsite from the upper cab.
Take a look at the model at booth W41901 in West Hall.
