Kenworth introduced the C580 extreme-duty truck at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas, replacing the C500.

Built for severe-duty applications, the C580 offers multiple axle configurations and supports up to 165,000 pounds on tandem rear axles. It is powered by a Cummins X15 engine with up to 605 horsepower.

The truck includes a redesigned cab with improved visibility, a 15-inch digital display and advanced driver assistance systems. Production is scheduled to begin in 2027.
