Simpro Group has launched Lightning, an AI-based operating platform designed to support field service and trade contractors.
The platform works alongside Simpro Group’s existing field service management systems, including Simpro, AroFlo and BigChange, and is designed to help contractors manage scheduling, documentation, customer communication and time tracking.
Lightning includes an AI assistant called Cooper, which analyzes jobsite and business data to provide operational insights. The platform also features AI tools for onboarding, job preparation, documentation and customer summaries.
Additional tools include two-way customer messaging and GPS-based time tracking intended to help contractors manage labor hours and reduce administrative work. The platform is designed to improve efficiency for trade businesses without requiring companies to replace their existing software systems.
