Cemen Tech developed the CD2 to address the increasing demand for customizable concrete mixes with SCMs, particularly fly ash, driven by stricter regulations and sustainability initiatives. This mixer allows contractors to precisely control the proportions of cement and fly ash, optimizing mix designs for specific applications, enhancing durability, and reducing material costs.
The CD2's ability to switch between mixes efficiently minimizes downtime, crucial for projects with varying concrete needs. Its enhanced filtration system also simplifies maintenance, keeping projects on schedule and maximizing productivity. This translates to greater control, higher quality, and improved profitability for asphalt contractors.
The CD2 allows operators to produce durable and sustainable concrete. Special split bins hold up to 115 cu. ft. of cement and 80 cu. ft. of fly ash, meeting the demands of a variety of projects.
Like other Cemen Tech volumetric mixers, the CD2 measures, mixes and dispenses concrete from a single unit. Each ingredient – sand, stone, cement powder, fly ash, water and additives – is stored in separate compartments and mixed onsite. This approach allows for quality control testing.

Beyond its mixing capabilities, the CD2 replaces traditional bag filters with cartridge filters, eliminating the need to add and remove bags from the filter system. This innovation supports maintenance and filtration.
