Comfortable Workspace
The spacious and comfortable cab features an optional heated and ventilated seat, along with heated joystick controls to make the operator comfortable no matter what the conditions are outside. The seat height and armrests can be easily adjusted to the operator's preference.
Bigger, Better Display Camera
This new and improved optional 10 in (254 mm) touchscreen, color display is easy to use, with a great view of machine settings, rearview camera and Slope Indicate/Slope Assist screens. The large reversing camera gives the operator better visibility to the job site.
Durable Undercarriage
The D2 is available with either a Sealed and Lubricated Track (SALT) or Abrasion undercarriage to best suit your application. The undercarriage has a longer life resulting in less down time. A one piece mainframe/track roller frame design and the large, double reduction planetary final drive allow the machine to push heavy loads.
New Technology
The next generation Cat D1-D3 dozers are equipped with: Traction Control, Stable Blade and Slope Assist. Bundled with the Cat attachment ready option (ARO) with Assist and Grade 3D with Assist packages, new Stable Blade Lift and Tilt improves performance over Stable Blade. The feature combines accelerometers with an advanced control algorithm to automatically make minor blade raise, lower, and left/right tilt commands to compensate for machine movement.
New Blade Load Monitor, Low Slip Traction Control and AutoCarry are integrated into Cat Grade 3D with Assist. Blade Load Monitor produces real-time feedback of current versus target machine load.
Cat D1-D3 dozers now offer a RC ready option that simplifies dealer installation of Cat Command for dozing. Cat Command allows the dozers to be remotely operated from a safe distance, eliminating safety risks from potentially dangerous applications.
