Meteorological Monitoring
DustScanAQ provides installation and maintenance services for on-site meteorological monitoring stations such as Davis Vantage Pro2 or Davis Vantage Vue.
On site local meteorological monitoring for key parameters such as wind speed, wind direction and rainfall can be vital in understanding the dispersion and deposition of dust and other pollutants, especially when the nearest Met Office approved weather station is often many kilometres away.
We also use local meteorological data to produce risk based alert systems as part of an Environmental Management System (EMS) to assist our clients with their day to day site operation and compliance.
Site specific weather data can be used in combination with dust monitoring and DustScanAQs expertise in dust modelling and prediction to help understand the likely distribution of dust near sensitive receptors and also assist in the interpretation of dust and air quality monitoring data. Appropriate meteorological data is also critical for dust and air quality mapping studies and reports.
