RealWear has introduced its latest assisted reality headset, the Arc 3, along with a new voice-controlled operating system, Ari OS. The products are designed to improve safety and efficiency for frontline workers who need access to information without using handheld devices.
The Arc 3 is a lightweight, 179-gram headset featuring a see-through display with double retina resolution and a dual camera system for enhanced imaging. It allows users to view data, take calls and photos, and send messages entirely through voice commands, keeping their hands free for work.
The headset can be worn with personal protective equipment and is designed for use in industries such as logistics, manufacturing and healthcare. Ari OS, which launches with the Arc 3, enables natural language control of applications and AI-assisted workflows and will be made available to other device manufacturers over time.
RealWear says the Arc 3 complements its existing lineup of headsets used by major companies in energy, automotive and industrial sectors. The new device is available now through a subscription model that includes repairs, upgrades and support.
