As more and more companies in the construction industry adopt enterprise-wide applications like construction ERP, project management software and business analytics, the advice of client-side selection and implementation consultants like Jonathan Gross is invaluable.
"So a lot of companies will come into the process of buying some new construction or engineering software, accounting, project management software and plan to hire the vendor and hire their services people," Gross says on this episode of Construction Tech Talk. "They'll come in and they'll set the system up and we will participate a bit. At the end, they'll have new processes and modern systems. Unfortunately that is not the best recipe for a successful outcome."
