At Bauma 2022, IRONPROS' Jessica Lombardo discusses Dynapac's electric rollers and pavers. While the company made the rollers back in 2012, they decided that the market wasn't ready for the rollers. The rollers can be charged overnight and will only take about six hours to be fully charged. In addition, they could be charged for an hour and a half with the company's fast charge system.
The compactive effort in the machines is no issue even though they are electric vehicles. The machine is sustainable and can be used where there is often a lot of idling since it can produce zero emissions and quietly sit as it idles on the job site.
