Jlg 1230 P Lift 1

JLG Industries has introduced the 1230P push-around lift, expanding its line of low-level access equipment designed to offer safer alternatives to ladders and scaffolding. The 1230P joins the existing lineup, which includes updated versions of the 830P and 1030P push-around lifts, as well as the non-powered EcoLift 50 and EcoLift 70 models.

New 1230P Model Offers Extended Reach and Maneuverability

The JLG 1230P is designed for indoor work at height, with a working height of 17 feet 4 inches and a platform capacity of 440 pounds. The unit provides 360-degree hands-free access to overhead work areas, supporting a single operator. Weighing less than 1,000 pounds and built with low ground-bearing pressure, the lift is intended for use on delicate flooring surfaces.

Key design features include:

  • A vertical rail system to support operator safety
  • Auto-locking brakes that engage when the platform is raised
  • A compact footprint (28 in x 33.5 in) for use in confined spaces
  • Easy-lock casters for improved positioning and transport

The 1230P is aimed at tasks that demand both extended reach and minimal disruption to indoor environments such as office buildings, healthcare facilities and commercial spaces.

Updates Across the Low-Level Access Line

In addition to the new model, JLG has made enhancements across its full range of low-level access lifts. These changes focus on improved ergonomics, visibility and maneuverability.

Updated features across the line include:

  • Steel platforms with ergonomic design for better durability and easier entry
  • Punched platform holes to improve drainage and airflow
  • Enhanced vertical rails for added operator protection (excluding the 1030P)
  • Refined caster systems for smoother locking and unlocking
  • Auto-lock brakes now standard on all push-around models

These updates are designed to make low-level access equipment more efficient and user-friendly in a variety of work environments.

Serving a Range of Indoor Applications

Low-level access lifts are increasingly used in trades and industries that require indoor work at moderate heights. Common applications include facility maintenance, HVAC installation, data center servicing and retail fit-outs. JLG’s continued focus on lightweight, compact equipment aims to reduce the risks and inefficiencies associated with traditional ladders and scaffolding.

JLG claims the newest model and line updates are part of a broader effort to support operator safety and jobsite efficiency.
