RELIABLE AND PRODUCTIVE SMALL DOZER
Dressta crawler tractors are built with the power and control to give you optimum performance. The reasons for their excellent up-time record are strong modular power train system, two-speed steering and a wide range of blade and ripper attachments. The unique three-point suspension protects the power train and transmits shock loads directly back to the ground.
Most of our crawler dozers are fully modular construction with rigid onepiece frame to which all power components are attached. We advertise MODULAR only when each major component can be easily removed and replaced indenpedently, without disturbing other components. The modular design incorporates conventional components, but arranges them in a way that make removal and replacement fast and relatively easy and sharply reduces machine downtime for customer profitability. The splined shafts connect the modules, which significantly eliminates any problem of misalignment thus simplifying assembly. With the modern, modular design, a shop serviceman can diagnose, repair and bench test the component and then send it back to the field for replacement. Every major component can be replaced in the field in only a few hours.
Two-speed steering module on our dozers maintains power to both tracks Ð at all times! You get the benefit of vastly improved gripping power to push loads through turns quickly and smoothly. It is simply a better, more productive way to steer your crawler dozer. Three speed transmission combined with two-speed geared steering provides six forward and six reverse speeds for more efficient use of the power according toload conditions. Steering module contains wet multi-disc low, high and brake clutches which need no adjustemnt to compensate for wear. Two-speed steering also gives you greater accuracy and more efficiency during side loading of blade, holding uneven loads more effectively. Bench slopes without being sucked into the bank. Maintain superior traction on slippery side-slopes or loose materials. With full power to both tracks you can virtually eliminate power-wasting ãdead trackÓ drag and achieve more real work per horsepower. The clear advantage is reduced wear on track, undercarriage and power train components.
Our crawler dozerÕs main body-weight structure is supported on three points:
first Ð a pin-mounted equalizer bar pivots in the center and allows either track frame to rise vertically
second and third Ð refer to both track frames fixed on the pivot shaft thru the bushings, which allows its vertical oscillation.
