Caterpillar has introduced the MH3295 Material Handler, designed for demanding applications such as barge loading, unloading and large scrapyard operations.
The machine offers an 18-meter (59-foot) reach with two counterweight configurations and a wide, retractable track undercarriage that balances stability with transport ease. A 405 kW (543 hp) Cat C18 engine, compliant with U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage V standards, powers the machine without derating at altitudes up to 3,000 meters. Operators can choose between Power, Smart and Eco modes to match performance to jobsite needs.
The MH3295 integrates Caterpillar technologies to improve efficiency and precision. Cat Payload provides real-time load estimates to prevent overloading trucks, while Swing Assist helps operators hit swing targets consistently and reduce fuel use. VisionLink gives fleet managers access to data on machine hours, idle time, location, and fuel consumption, while Remote Troubleshoot and Remote Flash streamline service and minimize downtime.
Inside the Premium Plus cab, visibility is improved with large windows, floor panels, and multiple cameras. A high-resolution 10-inch touchscreen consolidates machine functions and productivity applications in an easy-to-navigate grid format. Standard features include automatic climate control, adjustable seating, Bluetooth connectivity and cab avoidance technology to prevent contact between attachments and the cab.
